"The 2016 Riesling Erdener Treppchen Kabinett (White Capsule) has a clear and pretty concentrated nose that is still dominated by the lees aging rather than primary fruit. Lush and truly dry on the palate, this is an elegant and well-structured Kabinett with a straight and very grippy finish. This is not a ladykiller but a seriously structured and persistent Riesling for the cellar. Keep it for another 5 years - the wine will definitely gain complexity and finesse over that period. Tasted March 2018."
